Dropping Off Your Items for the BoutiqueBASH

You are welcome to drop off items at ONE OR BOTH of our pre-sale drop-off times! We make it easy to fit into your schedule!

  • No appointment needed for our regularly scheduled drop-offs.
  • You can make as many trips as you need.
  • PLEASE keep your children with you at all times! Unsupervised children will be given an espresso and a puppy!
  • Box or bag your items by gender, size, and type to speed up your drop-offs.
  • Bring a hand truck and or bring a wagon or stroller to haul items into space.
  • We will check your items & tags each time you enter the space, not just the first time.
  • No tagging is allowed in the sale space.
  • IMPORTANT: We will not be allowing you to bring in your personal purse/diaper bag/backpack, etc. during Drop-off or shopping days. You may bring empty bags that are tagged to sell, but not your personal bag except small wallets and belt bags.
  • Remember: Our Boutique BASH is only for high-end items on our Boutique Brands Chart.

Need to drop off items for another person?

You need their confirmation email. You can take a photo of their shopping pass and text it to them.

What to do for Drop-off

  • Bring your phone to take a photo of your shopping pass!
  • Pull up your confirmation email to show the Check-in Crew. (Search your email for your code to find it. Register again to have a copy resent to you.)
  • If you come more than once to drop-offs, show us your photo of your shopping pass when you arrive to the next drop-off and we will do a quick item check.
  • Check-in before putting out any items. You'll take a photo of your shopping pass. Print your tax donation receipt here.
  • We will check your items & tags on each trip into the store. You can't put items out without complete descriptions and proper tags.
  • Please have your items sorted by gender, size, and type before arrival so your drop-off will go smoothly.
  • We will ask you to hang your clothing items on our rolling racks and then we will check them for:
    • 65-67 lb cardstock tags
    • Correct cardstock color (or white to donate unsold items)
    • Taped tag corner before hole punching
    • Tag attached to item not the hanger
    • Zipties used whenever possible, ziplocs sealed with packing tape, all parts & pieces contained or zip-tied to item
    • Duplicate tags on multiple piece sets
    • QR code kids everywear tags
    • Brand + Colors written on tag (or item type of non-clothing)
    • 3+ word thorough description (in addition to brand & colors)
    • Stains/holes/worn toes on shoes
    • Correct season items
    • Hangers facing like a ? question mark so opening is on left
  • If you have all white tags, at Consignor Check-in you will take a picture of your early shopping pass.

 

Details about Pickup

Sorting your clothing & items for Drop-off

Children's clothing:

  • Children's clothing is sorted only by gender and then size, no categories. Neutral clothing items should hang in boys. New with Tags items go in the correct size in a small NWT designated section on each round rack.
  • Children's Accessories hang on the accessory grid in the center aisle.

Adult clothing: Sort by category then by size order in each category.

  • Men's clothing is sorted by letter size OR waistband number. We have a row of mens XS-4X then mens waist sizes.
    There is a place to hang men's accessories next to the men's clothing rack.

Ladies' clothing is sorted into 7 categories:

  • We have a row of 000-24 ladies #'d sizes, then 000-20 designer denim, then xxs-4x ladies' letter-sized clothing.
  • Maternity rounder (includes alpha and numeric size rings)
  • Formal gown rounder (includes alpha and numeric size rings)
  • Full length ladies - for items too long to hang in regular racks (includes alpha and numeric size rings)
  • Denim (by waist band & numeric size)
    Ladies' letter-sized denim go with their equivalent # size:
    000/23, 0 (24), 1 (25), 2 (26), 4 (27), 6 (28), 8 (29), 10 (30), 12 (31), 14 (32), 16 (33), 18 (34), 20 (36)
  • Ladies undergarments (size rings for numeric and cup sizes)
  • Numeric size racks (for all other items size 000-26+)
  • Alpha size racks (for all other items XXS-5X)
  • There is a grid to hang ladies clothing accessories near denim/ladies rounders and a table near the main aisle to display jewelry and other accessories.

Shoes:

  • Infant girls through ladies are located on the shelves starting behind ladies clothing and ending at the center aisle. Infant boys shoes through men's shoes are located on the shelves behind Children's clothing starting at the center aisle and going toward the fitting rooms.
  • Large infant gear is located just off the center aisle behind the jewelry tables.
  • Infant equipment, toys and housewares are located on the tables and shelves on the concrete floor next to the center aisle.
  • Ladies purses, wallets and clutches will need to be claim ticketed and dropped off at the claim ticket table to be organized and secured by crew.
  • High end items to be secured to racks will need to be claim ticketed and dropped off at the claim ticket table to be organized and secured by crew.

What to do in advance of Drop-off

  • Register for the BoutiqueBASH event. Your BoutiqueBASH confirmation email will say you are Registered for the BoutiqueBASH and have the correct sale month and year. Earmark that email so you can show it at Drop-off.
  • Read our How to Tag page and tag your items properly with the correct 65-67lb cardstock, taped corners and thorough descriptions on our QR code tags. We show examples on that page for attaching tags to different types of items. Our How to Tag page also has a list of all items that need to be brought on hangers.
  • Check out our Boutique Brands Chart to ensure you only bring the items we are accepting at this sale.

Are you bringing...

  • A car seat? Write the EXPIRATION date of your car seat on the tag front with a red Sharpie
  • A diaper bag priced $25 or higher? Attach a Claim Ticket at Drop-off
  • A purse or wallet or wristlet priced $25 or higher? Attach a Claim Ticket at Drop-off
  • A large item like a crib, high chair, exersaucer, canvas teepee, etc.? Attach a Claim Ticket at Drop-off
  • A stroller, wagon, or trike with push handle? Attach a Stroller Tag that says "This Item Is For Sale" at Drop-off

Finish Getting Ready

  • If you are bringing a crib, pack 'n play, or other equipment or a teepee, you must assemble them at the sale. Please bring any needed tools.
  • Double-check that items have been properly hung and tagged.
  • Double-check that tags and pieces are secure.
  • Double-check that tag info is accurate and complete.
  • Bringing a wagon, luggage cart, rolling suitcase, stroller, rolling rack, or dolly will help you transport large quantities of items from your car to the racks and shelves. (Be sure to label it with your name and cell # in case you leave it behind.) We will carefully check all items as you leave.

Drop-off Procedure

  1. If you have large, bulky toys or infant equipment to unload, pull up to the curb and quickly unload only those items to the curb. Do not block the handicapped ramp while you unload.​
  2. Immediately move your car to a designated mall parking spot. The mall does tow illegally parked cars at drop-off! Do NOT block the fire lane or handicapped ramp.
  3. At the door, we will check your tags and items.
  4. Go to Check-in just inside the entrance. If you have all white tags, show your tagged items to get your donation receipt and early shopping pass.
  5. If you are selling a stroller, attach a Stroller Tag that says "This Item Is For Sale".
  6. If you are selling a diaper bag, purse, a large item like a crib, high chair, exersaucer, canvas teepee, etc, complete and attach a Claim Ticket at Drop-off. Complete the top portion of a Claim Ticket, plus the consignor # and description on the bottom portion. Be sure to specify your discount as 50% max if you want your items discounted if they do not sell at full price. Items no longer roll over to KE. Then staple all 4 corners of your tag to the Large Item Claim Ticket and attach the Claim Ticket to your large item. All diaper bags, wallets, wristlets, and purses must have a Claim Ticket. Ask about our Specialty Items racks and zip tie your high-end items with Claim Tickets to those racks. See Shopping Tips for details about how Claim Tickets work when the customer wants to purchase the item.
  7. If you bring a car seat or a separate base, you MUST write the expiration date across the top of the tag with a thick red marker like this:  EXP 10/28. You will be charged an additional $10 fee if you bring an expired car seat. We will discard the car seat and not return it. Read here to find your car seat's expiration.
  8. Place all items in the correct designated places on the sales floor. Racks, bins, and shelves are clearly labeled and there are ceiling signs and KE Crew Members available to direct you. 
  9. Once your items are in the proper spots and assembled as required, please exit quickly! No browsing!
  10. As you exit, our staff will check your bags/luggage/bins as a security measure. We know you, as a consignor, will understand.

*There is a $1 per item fee if we find that you have any items dropped off that are very clearly stained/torn, not on our Boutique Brands Chart for the current event, or if you have multiple items clearly dropped off in the wrong gender/size.

  • White cardstock (10 sheets for $1)
  • Ziploc bags will be available for purchase ($1 per bag)

Late Drop-off

Late drop-off is during your designated full-price shopping time written on your confirmation email. Join the KE Crew and bring them at your KE Crew shopping time! If you are not part of the KE Crew, bring them on our Consignor shopping day at your shopping time.
