📅 Important Deadlines

  • BoutiqueBASH We Tag signup closes on July 15 (3 weeks before drop-offs), unless it fills before that date.
  • BB We Tag drop-offs begin in June!
  • All items must be to your We Tag tagger by July 22 (2 weeks before drop-offs).
  • Your spot is confirmed only when payment, form, and item drop-off (or pickup) are complete. Dropping off your items guarantees your spot!

General BoutiqueBASH We Tag info

Please read What's New for BB Consignors to be sure you know what to bring to your tagger. Note these important changes:

  • Now accepting new-in-package giftable toys in commonly recognized brands (excluding stuffed animals, which must be on our Brands Accepted chart).
  • Now accepting all sizes of boys Nike apparel; girls sizes are limited to 10 and up.
  • No winter holiday clothing (NO Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas) allowed at Spring BoutiqueBASH.
  • Brands removed: See the Brands Accepted Chart for new brands accepted & brands removed.
  • Any unaccepted item (stains, holes, tears, off-season) results in a $1 deduction. Read more about our quality initiative here.
  • We will have both white and color tag unacceptable items available at Pickup.

Important Limits & Shopping Perks:

  • Unlimited quantity and all seasons for BoutiqueBASH.
  • Carefully follow the Brands Accepted list. Any brands that are not accepted at BB will be donated and not tagged unless you are also registered for KE and/or EE.
  • WE WILL REGISTER YOU for BoutiqueBASH which will send you an automated confirmation that includes your code and cardstock color.
  • Shopping Perks: You will receive a shopping pass from your tagger or at your mall drop-off. You get to shop our BB Consignor Pre-sale for Full Price and 50% off! Your pass also allows you to shop our KE Consignor Pre-sale for full price and discount days!

Get started: The 4 simple steps

Step 1: Gather your items

⚠️ Crucial Quality Standards

Please remember: Taggers do not provide a sorting service. It is the consignor's responsibility to pre-screen all items for the correct season, stains, holes, odors, and accepted brands before drop-off.

A $1 fee is applied for every unaccepted item dropped off to your tagger.

Stain Checking Checklist

Collect and freshly launder an unlimited amount of your best, high-end items from our Brands Accepted list. You do not need to include hangers but can include them if you have them!

Accepted vs. Not Accepted:

  • Fall BB allows all seasons of children's, ladies', and men's boutique or sustainable clothing and shoes.
  • Spring BB does NOT allow Children's Christmas and Thanksgiving attire.
  • High-end purses, jewelry, shoes, new makeup, new picture books, infant equipment, toys, housewares, and more!
  • Not accepted: Men's suits, men's dress shirts, or men's dress pants.

Condition Check: We charge $1 per item for anything that is unacceptable that you drop off to your tagger. These items will be disposed of and not returned. If your tagger pulls them in advance, your seller report will not list item descriptions since they do not make tags for them. Taggers check for:

  • Fresh laundering (especially those from bins or storage to eliminate mothball and attic smells).
  • Iron if needed.
  • No stains, tears, or smells.
  • No rust or yellowing plastic.
  • No handpainted items.

Quality Check:

  • Wipe shoes and toys (Magic Erasers work great).
  • Include working batteries in items that need them.

Organization:

  • Open and count boxed items; tape them closed with blue painter's tape marked "complete."
  • Bag or box clothing by gender; boys' items separately from girls', mens separately from ladies, and mark the gender on the outside of the box or bag. (It is often difficult for taggers to differentiate between jeans, etc.)
  • Place items in large garbage bags tied shut or stackable boxes labeled with your We Tag code (sent to you by We Tag once you complete the form and they register you. Your We Tag code will never change).
  • Write your code on blue painter's tape - not directly on bags or bins. Bins will not be returned.

Pricing (optional):

  • If you have a preferred price for a large item, write it clearly on blue tape and point it out at drop-off.

Sets:

  • Fold matched sets together and bag toy pieces together.

Step 2: Choose drop-off or porch pickup

Option 1: Drop-off

  • Bring your items to the sale location or your tagger's home.

Option 2: Porch Pickup

  • Available for BoutiqueBASH only. We come to you - pick up your items, tag them, and put them out at the sale.
  • Choose a tagger within 8 miles of your home for pickup.

Note: You CANNOT drop additional items off to be tagged at a later date unless your tagger has available time once they are done with their first round of tagging. If you miss your appointment, you will be put to the bottom of the waitlist and will likely not be able to use We Tag this season for BB.

Drop-off Locations: South Hills Mall (1213 Buck Jones Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606), Apex, Bahama, Durham, Raleigh and Wake Forest. Check the We Tag form for specific addresses.

Step 3: Pay

  1. Pay your We Tag supply fee.
    • $20 for BB standard drop-off
    • $30 total if you're using BB Porch Pickup
  2. WE WILL REGISTER YOU for your We Tag code. Already registered under your full name? Type "unregister" in the registration form as shown in image below.

  3. You'll receive a confirmation email with your 4-digit We Tag code and your assigned cardstock color. Keep it - you'll need it for BoutiqueBASH Pickup (if you're using colored cardstock).

Step 4: Complete the We Tag form

Confirm your chosen drop-off or pickup location.

Reminder: BoutiqueBASH is our smaller high-end all-season sale - if you want to use we tag for KE or EE too, you must:

  • Pay a separate $20 We Tag supply fee for KE and/or EE.
  • Complete a separate form for each event.
  • Gather your KE and/or EE season-specific items according to each sale's Items Accepted.

Tag colors and what they mean

  • Tan tags: These are BB we tag only tags. We provide tan cardstock for all BB consignors.
  • If you pay for We Tag for KE and/or EE, we can retag seasonally appropriate tan tags as white tags for those events or as color tags if you want to pickup your unsold KE & EE items and provide your assigned color cardstock to your BB tagger. Off-season tan tags will be donated after BB Pickup if you do not come to BB Pickup.
  • If you do not pay for We Tag for KE and/or EE, your tan tags will be donated after BB if you do not come to BB Pickup.
  • After KE, applicable unsold items can rollover to EE. Items not accepted at EE will be donated after KE. After EE, all unsold white tags are donated.
  • Note: You can tell your tagger a few specific items to tag at no discount and provide the correct color cardstock for KE and EE use for just those items if you have a few items you want to pick up if they don't sell at full price.

Donation rules & retagging logic

If You Want to Donate All Your Items & DO NOT Pay for KE and/or EE We Tag:

  • After BB Pickup, your items are donated that evening - no exceptions.

If You Want to Pick Up Unsold Items from BB:

  • You can pick up your unsold BB items during Pickup (see your confirmation email or Event Schedule for date/time).
  • If you don't sign up for KE or EE We Tag, all remaining items after BB Pickup will be donated that evening.

If You Sign up for KE and/or EE We Tag:

  • Your tagger can pick up your unsold BoutiqueBASH items that are seasonally appropriate for those events only if you have paid for We Tag for those events at least 24 hours before BB pickup.
  • They'll retag your seasonally appropriate items as follows:
    • Tan BB tags → retagged with white tags (for KE and EE) at a lower price.
    • If you provide the correct colored cardstock for KE and/or EE, they'll tag your items with that color instead of white for BB and retag them with that color at a lower price for KE and/or EE if they don't sell at BB.
  • Taggers will store your retagged items until KE or EE and put them out for you at those sales.

Off-season Items Do Not Qualify for KE and EE:

  • Our March KE & May EE are Spring Only. So only your Spring/Summer BB items can be retagged for those events.
  • Our September KE & October EE are Fall Only. So only your Fall/Winter BB items can be retagged for those events.
  • To keep off-season items, attend BB Pickup (check your confirmation email or the Event Schedule for date/time).
  • If you don't attend BB Pickup, your off-season items will be donated that evening - no exceptions.

Earnings, Fees & Checks

  • Discounts: BoutiqueBASH items → up to 50% off max. (Kids EveryWEAR & EverythingELSE → up to 75% off max).
  • 45% earnings on your total sales.
  • $20 non-refundable supply fee per event ($30 for porch pickup).
  • $15 consignor fee (deducted from your check after your % is calculated).
  • If You Also Want to Tag Items Yourself: You can choose to use your own consignor code (first name + last name) - not your We Tag code. You'll earn 65% on those items, and a separate $15 consignor fee applies for each code and check. If you tag any items under your We Tag code, those sales stay at 45% earnings but you only have the one consignor fee deducted because you only have one check. This might result in a higher total going to you.
  • Checks: Available at Pickup after each event. Mailed after Pickup if not collected in person. Wait 3 weeks before inquiring because the postal system can be slow.
  • Reports: If you want a report of items sold, order a BB Seller Report. Be CERTAIN to provide your WE TAG CODE when completing payment.
