To keep the EverythingELSE Sale top-notch and ensure your items sell, our Crew actively checks racks and removes items that are off-season, stained, damaged, or not the correct sizes. We know mistakes happen! We hold every item we pull as unacceptable — white and colored tag — through the end of Pickup, so you can retrieve or inspect it before it's donated.

💡 Pro-Tip: The "Inspection Light" Trick

Stains are the #1 reason items are rejected. Check all items under bright, natural light before tagging. Check armpits, collars, cuffs, and linings!

Check at the Crew Check-in table at Drop-off to get questionable items approved and have tag marked "accepted", but please err on the side of caution.

🔋 Power check:

Working batteries are required for ALL battery-operated items. Cords must be included when needed so items can be tested at Sort Station.

🛑 Unacceptable:

NO odor, small stains, slight rust, pilling, worn spots, pet hair, or tiny holes. All items must be like-new unless listed on our "must be new" list.

🍁 Fall/Winter EE (Oct)

UNACCEPTED ITEMS:

• NO Summer Styles or Cuts: No short-sleeved or sleeveless rompers with shorts, no visors, no above-the-knee pants, no open bellies, and no ruffle/butterfly sleeves. Capris: below-the-knee athletic capri leggings only — no other capris, of any length.
• NO Summer Fabrics: No linen, madras, seersucker, gauze, muslin, lightweight beach pants, terry cloth, or eyelet.
• NO Sleeveless Rules: No sleeveless shirts or "cold shoulder"/off-shoulder shirts (unless they are heavy winter fabrics and long-sleeved). No sleeveless tops even if worn under layers, except synthetic dri-fit exercise shirts and clear winter formal gowns (such as sequins for New Year's Eve).
• NO Women's Shorts: No shorts allowed for ladies, except synthetic exercise shorts. Butterfly shorts are allowed only if they are clearly athletic, not fashion shorts.
• NO Swimwear — no exceptions. No ladies’ or men’s swimsuits or swim cover-ups, and no shorts with a swimsuit lining.
• ✅ YES to Fishing Shirts: Short-sleeved fishing shirts are accepted at both Fall and Spring.
• ✅ YES to 3/4 sleeves in fall/winter fabrics and colors.
• ✅ YES to PJs: Shorts-style pajamas are only allowed if they are heavy winter weights like fleece or flannel.

🌷 Spring/Summer EE (May)

UNACCEPTED ITEMS:

• NO Winter Fabrics: No thermal waffle weave shirts, flannel shirts, fleece, corduroy, velvet, or lined pants.
• NO Winter Styles: No turtlenecks or dark-colored long-sleeved shirts.
• NO Winter Themes: No winter holiday patterns or seasonal designs.
• ✅ YES to Exceptions: We DO accept unlined sweatshirts and hoodies, thin long-sleeved t-shirts clearly intended for summer wear, and men's light-colored pastel or white thin-weight summer dress shirts.

Accepted if: never been in a accident, and not expiring within the next 6 months.

• Write the expiration date across the top of the tag in RED PEN. Check your seat's label - every manufacturer sets their own expiration date for your exact make and model; use that date.
• If no expiration date is printed, check the manufacturer's guidelines for your specific seat.
• If your seat comes with 2 bases, we recommend selling one base separately.
• Attach a Claim Ticket to all car seats and tall boosters at Drop-off.
